Canon Imagebrowser 6.3.1a Updater For Mac

Hi Anyone having problems with ImageBrowser on 10.5? The version (6.0.1.37) I got with my new G9 dies on startup - you get the 'Blah Di Blah Quit Unexpectedly' message and the option to report it to Apple. I don't really know if the problem is 10.5 - both my machines are 10.5 - one PPC and one Intel - and it doesn't work on either. I wouldn't mind (I didn't use the software that came with previous Canons) but I need it to manipulate the camera's RAW files. I'm using the Windows version in XP / VMWare but that's too annoying for words Grr. Any pointers or further info would be greatly appreciated.

I'm using the Windows version in XP / VMWare but that's too annoying for words Grr. Click to expand.Err, it works! I've never had a problem with any of the canon stuff, from the first install back in Jan on Tiger and then with the archive and install of leopard recently.

The only thing that I have really noticed is that the apps are now showing a intel apps rather than ppc apps (found a little script to show which is which). The only real suggestion that I could offer is to remove the apps and then re-install from a download from the canon site. I'm posting this for the archive. The error message when launching ImageBrowser was: Dyld Error Message: Library not loaded: @executablepath/./frameworks/BJPZLIB.framework/ Versions/A/BJPZLIB Referenced from: /Applications/Canon Utilities/ImageBrowser/ ImageBrowser.app/Contents/MacOS/ImageBrowser Reason: image not found I remembered that there are changes to library path resolution in 10.5 and copied the library from within the package to /Library/Frameworks. I don't understand why it works on other people's 10.5 installation, though. Is there a setting about path resolution? Cheers, Nick.
