I had it working find with my NX1000 files for some time but just noticed the files from my new NX300 were not showing up. Videos: tana mongeau apologizes for mac. So I checked MS's site and sure enough they updated their driver. I'm using Windows 7 64 bit. Not sure what other versions it supports. Worth checking out though. Sorry to bump this, but I've just run into the problem of not being able to view NX300M files on windows 8.1.
I already have the latest codec pack installed (KB2800189, as far as I can tell), but the files still show up as thumbnails in Windows Explorer. Can only open with Lightroom to preview (or Samsung's iLauncher software, I guess) I see that there are microsoft codec updates for Windows 7 that include NX300, but can't find anything for Windows 8 =/. You might need to add SRW as a custom filetype in the settings menu, but it works. Also, for the previous reply I forgot to mentioned that I downloaded a NX300 file and that worked (for viewing and as a thumbnail, thanks to SageThumbs). Thanks Thumbnails are certainly helpful though full viewing ability in Windows' image viewer would be even better.
